S. Kamau Mucoki is a New York-based street photographer and photoblogger who has been documenting life on the streets of San Francisco and New York and posting images on the web since 2000. He carries a camera with him daily, through which he tries to find the extraordinary in the ordinariness of day to day objects, scenes and activities. Kamau’s recent work has expanded to include portraiture through his collaboration with dance video group Gk1 Productions.
